Email Marketing and Email Newsletters
Email Marketing and Email Newsletters.

Every time I get a newsletter by email, I check to see which service they use. Today, I found mailermailer, an email marketing and email newsletter online company. Like ConstantContact. It allows you to easily create an email newsletter online, and then do analytics tracking (who opened it, clicked on certain links, etc.)
The email newsletter I received today looks great and has an interesting format (good design), including good sales links. But, you have to click on a link in the email to get to the real newsletter, not something I’d recommend. The fewer clicks to achieve results, from the reader’s perspective, the better the sales conversions. In layman’s terms, don’t annoy the customer and you’ll get better sales, and put things within reach.
Anyone else using mailermailer? How do you like it? Using something else, like ConstantContact, Awebber? How do you like them?

Hi, thanks for the post about our service. We allow customers to send newsletters in either text or HTML format. The newsletter you got sounds like it was the text version, which is automatically created when they make their HTML version and sent only to those addresses set to receive text. If you click the “change profile or unsubscribe” link at the bottom, you can update your settings to get the HTML version next time (unless of course the sender actually only sends text versions). Hope that clarifies things.
BTW, you can also see lots of videos on how to use MailerMailer in case you want to peak inside without creating a free trial account:

Hey Raj, thanks for your input! It’s always great to hear from the source itself.
The newsletter in question appeared to be HTML, since it had graphics. I am assuming that the style was a matter of encouraging people onto their website, to increase traffic.
