Service professionals, I’ve just come across a great online appointment booking system: Schedulicity Online Scheduling – Book Appointments Online.
It works nicely, costs about a dollar a day for one-person back office access, and even sends reminder emails to your clients.
These online scheduling systems are major time and headache savers: just set them up and let your clients schedule themselves and pay online. You can set the cancellation policy (24 hours, 48, etc.), provide detailed information about your services. It’s great!
This is one of many options available on the market. Some cost less, many cost more. But this is one of the nicest I’ve seen.
For WordPress fans, there are also booking plugins. A WP plugin requires work to set up, and may or may not be free. Just consider your options and what kind of effort and time you want to put into scheduling.
