This was recommended to me by Rob Bailey, in some follow-up after a teleseminar with Juliette Powell, social marketing expert. Juliette, of course, had recommended using appropriate social networking to boost marketing, sales, market research, inter-office communication, and build community. She mentioned using 3rd party apps (applications) to speed up the process, since it can be mundane and time-consuming, by using Twitter via mobile phone to generate info, which the 3rd party apps disseminate to Facebook, blogs, etc.

WordPress plug-in. Sounds limited.
Fairly robust, integrates well with WordPress, but some complain that it does not adequately handle affiliate and joint venture administration.
They don’t allow just anyone to use their software, which they install, they pre-screen their clients. They also don’t state their price. Reeks of “control freak”. We have heard of sites that are pulled down overnight, with no warning, by companies like this.
