Time Tracking Software Update

We found a time tracking software that we like
and have been using for a few days – it’s called Baralga and it’s an open source software. 
What’s open source mean? It’s free software that is written so that anyone can modify it.
What we like about Baralga for time tracking is this:
- it’s easy to use
- easy to install
- time track as many projects as you like
- you can put the results into an Excel spreadsheet
- works right on your computer
- the “stopwatch” part of it is super easy to use, so if a client calls, you can switch projects in the bat of an eyelash, the go right back to working on and tracking your other project

What’s the downside to open source software?
It may not be perfectly polished, there may be glitches, and there may not be super good technical support. We have not had any questions or problems with this software, however.

Basecamp is also another option, but we’ve found it in the past to be very annoying because only one person could be assigned to a project. http://www.basecamphq.com/signup They do have timetracking now, and there are plugins available to help.
